WAYNA FANES
The Seven-Fold Path of the Crystalline Heart
Wayna Fanes is a fascinating, many sided, wide-ranging and versatile path to the Self, that honors the earth and puts the heart in the center.
Only when we touch the Earth will we regain our strength. Only when we encounter each other physically, as embodied souls, will our hearts open fully to each other. And we need to re-introduce soul into our lives, for spirit to act through us, so beauty can emerge.
This website wants to invite you to a real encounter with us and our sacred mountains. We don’t offer online events, and we don’t present ourselves very much in the social media. The Virtual gives an impression of community, while ultimately separating us from each other and other living beings of the Earth.
About us
The Wayna Fanes Tradition is a fascinating, many sided, wide-ranging and versatile path to the Self, that honors the earth and puts the heart in the center. You can say it is an earth-honoring and heart-centered path to the Self. Born from the union of the millennial healing and wisdom tradition of the Andes and the unique mythic heritage of the Dolomites, it integrates all levels of our lives as spiritual beings making a human experience.

Join us and learn
The Path of the Crystalline Heart is a path of initiations. Though adapted to the life circumstances of the Western world, it treats both ancient knowledge and new insights responsibly. The apprenticeship in the Wayna Fanes Tradition, certainly unique in Europe, is designed accordingly. It begins with a comprehensive basic series, “Der unvergleichlich strahlende Stein: Auf sieben Regenbogenwegen zum Juwel der Seele“ (“the incomparably radiant stone: following seven rainbow paths towards the jewel of the soul“), that extends over about one and a half years. It consists of five extended weekend workshops and a summer week in the Fanes range of the Dolomites.
Waltraud Hönes
“Curandera”, ceremonial artist and book author, is founder of the Wayna Fanes Tradition and the group “Dolomiten Ayllu”. On meeting Peruvian Master Ceremonialist and Curandero Don Oscar Miro-Quesada, founder of the cross-cultural Pachakuti Mesa Tradition, she immediately began a 10-year long apprenticeship with him. After completing her apprenticeship with Don Oscar, she served as his authorized European representative and teacher of his tradition for many years. Several periods of intensive study in Peru, where she met and worked with other Curanderas and Curanderos in the Highlands, complimented her apprenticeship.
The new pilgrimage / books
Isn’t it time to take a new path? This new way of pilgrimage focuses on experiencing the Earth
as a living being and entering in a reciprocal exchange with her. It can show us the direction
towards a future worth living for us humans on and with the Earth.
The seven-fold path
Six straight paths lead to the rayeta over a central, seventh, ring-shaped path. They shine in the colors of the the rainbow, surrounded by a shimmer of gold and silver, because it is the rays of the rayeta itself which form these paths. Only someone who has walked all seven paths will get to the rayeta, since there is no color which can be cut from the spectrum of the soul.
